Langley Summer Exhibition

Two pieces of my work appeared in the ‘Summer’ exhibition hosted by The Langley Arts Council at the Timms Community Centre earlier this year.

‘Nova Scotia’ is a 12x16” framed image based on a photo I took in Peggy’s Cove during a trip to Nova Scotia in 2023. It is made up of 170 pieces of paper in 26 different colours.

‘Red Chair’ is a smaller 4x4” piece mounted on wood block that features the same chair I created to replicate in the larger piece. I was pretty pleased when I first designed this chair as it took quite awhile to get all the tiny details and shadows right within the limitations of paper.

Both pieces were digitally illustrated, cut using a desktop CNC and assembled by myself.
